| Curbside Pick Up: The Town of Avon will offer curbside Christmas tree pick-up for Avon residents from December 26, 2024 through February 3, 2012.
Avon's Public Works Department will check for trees on a frequent basis, but if residents would like to schedule a pick-up they may call Public Works Department with their address and phone number. For more information or to schedule a pick up, please contact Gary Padilla at 970-748-4118 or email gpadilla@avon.org or Dorothy Martinez at 970-748-4132 or email dmartinez@avon.org. In addition, residents may also bring their Christmas trees to the landfill at no charge; recycled trees will be chipped for mulch. A special thank you to Vail Honeywagon for their assistance in the disposal of the trees. |
| Special Instructions: All trees must have their lights and ornaments removed. The town will only pick up cut trees, no artificial or flocked trees, wreaths or seasonal debris will be collected.

Drop off site: The Town of Minturn is offering free collection of discarded live Christmas trees this year. Collection of trees will take place from Wednesday, December 28, 2024 through Friday, January 6, 2025 at 3:00 p.m.

| Curbside: The Minturn Public Works Department staff will make regular pick-ups throughout town to collect the trees between now and January 6th at 3:00 p.m. Should your tree not be picked up within a few days of being placed near the roadside, please contact Minturn Town Office staff at (970) 827-5645. In addition, should you wish to schedule a pick-up of your tree, please contact the same telephone number. |
| Special Instructions: Trees must be free of any adornments, such as lights, tinsel, ornaments, plastic and tree stands. Trees should be placed near the side of the road; however, it is important that the tree does not block the roadway in any manner. |
| Town Bonfire: The collected trees will be utilized for a Bonfire event to be held on Saturday, January 7, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. The Bonfire will be held in the upper parking lot of Little Beach Park. There will be free hot chocolate, as well as marshmallows for roasting. Please come out and enjoy this family friendly activity. |
