| Drop Off Site:
Western Disposal is offering its annual Christmas tree drop-off program for residents beginning December 23, 2011 through January 31, 2012.
You can bring your Christmas tree to the Western Disposal transfer and recycling station at 5880 Butte Mill Rd in Boulder, Colorado [map] or to the Stazio Ballfields parking lot just east of our property. Look for the signs with more directions at the entrance to the Western Disposal property.

| Drop Off Location:
The Town of Erie Parks Division will conduct their annual Christmas Tree Recycling Program beginning Monday, December 26, 2011. Residents may drop off trees for recycling at Coal Creek Park located at the intersection of Cheesman and Kattell in Historic Downtown Erie. The designated drop off area is located in the north parking lot and will be clearly marked.
Christmas trees will be accepted for recycling through Monday, January 16, 2011 only.
Tree Limb Diversion: In an effort to continue to assist Erie residents with the recycling of fallen trees and limbs from recent snowstorms, Erie residents are permitted to drop off trees and branches up to 12 inches in diameter during this period.
Please note: The Town is not accepting bagged or loose leaves. |

Local Boy Scout Troop #69 will pick up untrimmed Christmas trees from Lafayette residences on Saturday, January 7, for a $10 donation. Christmas wrap: December 26, 2011 and continuing through January 5, 2012 you can bring your wrapping paper to the Waste Diversion Center at 140 Martin Street. There will be a specially designated bin for wrapping paper recycling. Wrapping paper is considered a contaminant in the single stream system due to its high clay content and low fiber and it must be kept separate from other recyclables. Please do not put wrapping paper in your curbside recycling container. Please do not include metallic wrapping paper, ribbons, bows, ornaments, tissue paper, fluorescent or dark paper, or paper covered with tape in the specially designated recycling bin. |
